Guided Exhibition Tours
The Guild's gallery, Craft in the Bay, showcases the work of our members as well as hosting national and international exhibitions of contemporary craft and applied art. Students can see first hand a range of craft work by professional artists and learn about the Makers Guild in Wales. Practical Art and Craft Workshops
We offer practical, hands-on workshops for students covering a wide range of creative arts and crafts.  The workshops are delivered by professional artists and take place in our workshop areas at Craft in the Bay gallery, Cardiff.  

See our current calendar of public workshops for an idea of the range of workshops available. There are workshops suitable for all age groups. Tailor made workshops are also available. Our staff are happy to discuss your students' specific needs.

Outreach Projects at your Schools or College
You may prefer for our crafts people to visit you at your school/college. We are happy to arrange talks/demonstration or workshops at your venue. 

For Staff and Teachers

Professional Development
A unique opportunity to learn new skills such as feltmaking, fabric manipulation, sculpture, printmaking. Workshops can be tailored to suit your needs.

We currently do not have funding to subsidise these training days. However if you are able to organise a group of colleagues from your cluster group of schools then the costs to individual schools would be greatly reduced. Suggested number of 8 to 10 teachers.
